Helping You Succeed

The NextUP Event

Creators Guide

We’ve created clear guidelines to help you understand the event and know what’s expected. Please review them before joining, and if you have any questions, our management team is available through the Support Portal.

Your Commitment to Our Guidelines

By participating in the NextUP event, you agree to follow the rules as outlined in our creator guide. Please review the information provided before joining.

Creator Conduct

  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any in-fighting between creators may result in all parties being removed from our events.
  • Respect for Staff and Customers: We do not tolerate the harassment of our staff or customers. As a participant, you are a reflection of BellaTECH, and we expect all creators to uphold proper behavior.
  • Compliance with Linden Labs TOS and Community Guidelines: All creators must respect and adhere to Linden Labs’ Terms of Service.
  • Intellectual Property: Respect for intellectual property is required. Any violation of IP rights may result in removal from our events.

Event Schedule

The NextUP Event follows a rolling schedule, always opening on a Friday to maximize marketing efforts and engagement.

  • Setup Dates: You can easily check our Calendar to stay on track with the event schedule.
  • Setup Times: All setup start and deadline times are at noon SLT (12 PM PST/3 PM EST/8 PM GMT).
  • Early Setup: If you need to set up early, we are happy to accommodate whenever possible. Please reach out in advance to make arrangements.
  • Deadlines and Refunds: We strictly enforce all deadlines. Please ensure you’re ready on time, as we cannot offer refunds if the deadline is missed.

Item Requirements

  • Permissions: NextUP items must be No Copy/Yes Transfer; Fatpacks must be Yes Copy/No Transfer.
  • Exclusivity: Event items must remain exclusive until the round ends unless they are preexisting, discounted sets.
  • Packaging: Items must be boxed with both the item and ad image included, and all body types should be packaged together—individual vendors for separate body types are not allowed.
  • Content Guidelines: XXX or pornographic content is prohibited. Adult furniture is allowed, but no explicit sex acts or genitalia should be shown in images.

Item Names

To comply with Linden Labs’ regulations, all conveyor belt vendor systems must clearly display the item being purchased. Please follow these naming instructions:

  • Naming Format:
ITEM NUMBER – SET NAME – ITEM NAME – BRAND
  • Rare Items: Prefix the box name with “RARE” after the item number if the item is rare. Ultra-rare items are not allowed.
  • Character Limit: Item names must be 32 characters or fewer, including spaces. Names exceeding this limit will not display properly on the machine.

Image Rules

As part of Linden Labs’ regulations, images for conveyor belt systems must meet the following guidelines:

  • Labeling: Clearly label each item in your ad image with the assigned item number during the boxing process.
  • Image Dimensions: Ensure all images are square to be properly displayed on the blog.
  • Content Guidelines: XXX or pornographic material, including any depictions of genitalia or explicit sex acts, is strictly prohibited.

Booth Setup

  • No Model Bots: Model bots are not allowed as they take up space and can prevent genuine shoppers from entering the region during busy times.
  • Vendor Modifications: Only images can be added to the vendors. No resizing, reshaping, or other modifications are permitted.
  • Booth Limitations: Each booth is limited to one set.
  • Prim Limit: Please keep your booth setup to a maximum of 50 prims.
  • Containment: All items must remain within the booth—nothing should be placed outside.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these policies at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the Creators to stay informed about any changes by regularly reviewing the covenant.

Setting Up At The Event

  • Rez the NextUP Vendor:

    • Only the NextUP Event Vendor provided in the Creator Kit is permitted.
    • Rez the NextUP Event Vendor in your booth as included in the kit.
    • You cannot use your standard in-store version of NextUP at the event.
  • Position Your Vendor:

    • Place the vendor inside your booth in the desired location.
    • Add your items to the vendor.
  • Set Price & Rare Chance:

    • Touch the vendor to run the setup and set your item price and rare chance.
    • We recommend a rare chance of 5-10%. Anything above 10% is not recommended.
  • Set Up the Landing Pad and Upload Ad Images:

    • Place the BloggerSync landing pad in front of your booth. If you have multiple booths, ensure there is one landing pad per booth.
    • Add your NextUP ad image to the landing pad’s object contents (only one image per pad). Additional images can be emailed to [email protected].
  • Submit to the Blog:

    • Touch the landing pad to submit your images to the blog.
    • This will automatically sync your listing to the shopping guide, allowing shoppers to teleport directly to your booth by clicking the image.
