Launching a new product through Secret Sale gives you a quick return from the weekend’s shoppers. Afterward, add the item to your store for ongoing profits. You can also feature it in smaller events later, but be sure to wait at least two months to keep the item feeling fresh and maintain shopper interest.

Balancing New and Old Items

New products are key to maintaining excitement, but you can also include older items in Secret Sale. For brands new to discount events, all items will feel fresh to shoppers. If you’ve been participating for a while, avoid repeating items for at least two months to keep offerings exciting. Balance your release schedule to present fresh, appealing products, keeping customers engaged and returning for more.

The NextUP Event is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity. Releases should feel unique and collectible, offering something not easily found in stores. It’s the perfect chance to take risks, explore new ideas, and step outside your comfort zone. Shoppers are looking for exciting items they can show off, collect, trade, and sell.

Ideal NextUP Set

An ideal NextUP set includes 12 to 24 items with as few recolors as possible. Aim for at least 2 rares for every 10 common items. The items should form a cohesive set, not standalone pieces. The goal is to make shoppers want to complete the collection. Think of your NextUP set as telling a story—people crave the unusual and the collectible, not the ordinary.

Booths and Pricing

Marketing Clients get one sponsor booth for a new NextUP release and an optional second booth for a second new or discounted set older. Keep pull prices between L$50 and L$75, never below L$50 or above L$99. Fatpacks should be twice the pull price for commons and three times for rares, rounded to the nearest 99. Though fatpacks aren’t the main focus, they’re essential for your product catalog and long-term sales.

While new items are encouraged, they aren’t required, allowing you to offer high-price products at an appealing discount to attract more customers.

Items with high complexity, animations, or special features often can’t be sold at the typical weekend discount prices. The Designer Outlet offers a space for these high-ticket items, allowing you to offer shoppers special discounts while still preserving the items value.
