Creators Guide

Unleash your creativity this July with The Imaginarium, our celebration of art, imagination, and originality. Creators can reserve a booth, join the hunt, or participate in both. Booths require at least 1 new exclusive item, with the option to include older discounted items that fit the theme. Hunt items do not need to be new but should align with the event’s focus on bright, creative, and fun designs. Let your imagination run wild—this is the perfect event for your weirdest, most unique ideas that don’t fit anywhere else. Think outside the box and have fun!

Your Commitment to Our Guidelines

By participating in our events, you agree to follow the rules as outlined in our creator guide. Please review the information provided before joining.

We’ve created clear guidelines to help you understand the event and know what’s expected. Please review them before joining, and if you have any questions, our management team is available through the Support Portal.

Creator Conduct

  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any in-fighting between creators may result in all parties being removed from our events.
  • Respect for Staff and Customers: We do not tolerate the harassment of our staff or customers. As a participant, you are a reflection of BellaTECH, and we expect all creators to uphold proper behavior.
  • Compliance with Linden Labs TOS and Community Guidelines: All creators must respect and adhere to Linden Labs’ Terms of Service.
  • Intellectual Property: Respect for intellectual property is required. Any violation of IP rights may result in removal from our events.

Event Schedule

The event follows a rolling schedule, always opening on a Friday to maximize marketing efforts and engagement.

  • Setup Dates: You can easily check our Calendar to stay on track with the event schedule.
  • Setup Times: All setup start and deadline times are at noon SLT (12 PM PST/3 PM EST/8 PM GMT).
  • Early Setup: If you need to set up early, we are happy to accommodate whenever possible. Please reach out in advance to make arrangements.
  • Deadlines and Refunds: We strictly enforce all deadlines. Please ensure you’re ready on time, as we cannot offer refunds if the deadline is missed.

Booth Items

  • New Exclusive Item: Each booth must feature at least 1 new exclusive item for the event.
  • Additional Items: Older discounted items may also be included in the booth.
  • Permissions: Must be set to Yes Copy/No Transfer.
    • NextUP Vendors: Items sold in NextUP vendors must be set to No Copy/Yes Transfer.

    Hunt Requirements

    • Themed Requirement: Hunt items must match the event theme to maintain consistency and enhance the overall experience.
    • New or Old Items: Older items are allowed, but we highly encourage creating new themed items to attract attention and maximize sales potential. Fresh, event-specific items tend to perform better with customers and add excitement to the hunt.

    Image Rules

    • Image Dimensions: Ensure all images are square to be properly displayed on the blog.
    • Content Guidelines: XXX or pornographic material, including any depictions of genitalia or explicit sex acts, is strictly prohibited.

    Event Setup

    Please follow the guidelines below to set up for the event. If you have any questions during setup please contact, Starlet Whimsy.

    Setup: Market Stalls

    • Rez Your Vendors:
      • You may use your preferred vendor, however, the VendorSync script must be added.
      • Please no more than 50 prims per booth.
    • Position and Set Up Your Vendors:
      • Move the vendors to your desired locations within your Yuletide Market stall.
      • Add your items to the vendors and set them up as you normally would.
    • Add the VendorSync Script:
      • Add the VendorSync script to each vendor you’ve rezzed in your store.
    • Rez the Landing Pad:
      • Place the BlogSync landing pad in front of your store.
      • The landing pad must be positioned directly in front of the store.
    • Load Ad Images:
      • Add your ad images to the BlogSync landing pad’s object contents.
    • Submit to the Blog:
      • Touch the landing pad to submit your images to the blog.
      • This will automatically sync your listing to the blog.

    Setup: The Hunt

    • Teleport to the Event Region.
    • Place Your Vendors:
      • Rez your hunt vendors around the event region.
      • SPREAD THEM OUT—don’t place them next to each other! Make the hunt fun!
      • DO NOT place them all in the town center. Please place them in the neighborhood as well.
      • DO NOT place them inside of the houses, other buildings are fine.
      • DO NOT make them hard to find.
    • Add Your Items:
      • Put both the item and its ad image inside each vendor.
      • Price your items between L$1 and L$99.
      • You may put up to 8 normally priced hunt items and an unlimited number of L$1 items.
    • Activate the Vendor:
      • Touch the vendor to set the price.
      • The vendor will automatically activate and send your image to the blog.
