The skydome
We’ve created a few simple guidelines to ensure everyone enjoys their time here and our community stays lag-free. Please review these rules before renting. If you have any questions, our friendly management team is here to help through the Support Portal.
Your Commitment to Our rental Covenant
By renting one of our properties, you agree to follow the rules as outlined in our covenant. Please take a moment to review the information below before renting. Links to the covenant are provided on our rental boards, rental listings, and our website. Please note that choosing not to read the covenant does not exempt you from following these guidelines.
Allowed Usage
◆ Residential Use Only
Our Skydomes are intended for personal living spaces. Commercial activities and public venues are not permitted, including but not limited to:
- Clubs
- Stores
- Galleries
- Hotels
- Weddings
- Public Role Plays
Resident Conduct
◆ Respect for Privacy
At Bella Pointe, we value the privacy of all residents. Please ensure you and your guests:
- Do not spy on others.
- Do not enter Skydomes without an invitation.
- Do not take screenshots without permission.
◆ Zero Tolerance for Abuse
We are committed to fostering a positive and respectful community. Abusive or threatening behavior towards our business, staff, or residents will result in immediate eviction without refund.
◆ Covenant Violations
Violation of the Covenant can result in immediate eviction without warning or refund.
rental payments
◆ Rent is Nonrefundable
We understand that plans can change. While rent payments are nonrefundable, we offer flexibility:
- Unused rent can be held as a rental credit for future use upon request.
- If you decide to move to another of our properties, you can transfer your unused credit to the new rental.
- You also have the option to transfer unused rental credit to another resident if needed.
These options are available by request through the Support Portal.
◆ Late Payments
Life happens! If you’re running a bit behind, don’t worry—residents are given a 3-day grace period to catch up on late rental payments.
Advanced Payments
◆ Available Bonuses
Residents can earn rental bonuses for making advanced payments. These bonuses are available through the Support Portal.
◆ How to Apply
To take advantage of the bonus, a support ticket must be filed via the Support Portal so the payment can be arranged and the bonus applied.
◆ Bonus Breakdown
- 13-week payment: Receive a 1-week bonus
- 26-week payment: Receive a 2-week bonus
- 52-week payment: Receive a 4-week bonus
Co-Tenant Limits
◆ Tenant Limit
Residents may add up to 10 co-tenants to their rental.
◆ Responsibility for Co-Tenants
Residents are responsible for the behavior of their co-tenants.
◆ Permissions for Co-Tenants
Co-tenants have certain privileges through the Support Portal, including:
- Filing support tickets on behalf of the main tenant.
- Requesting the addition or removal of extra prims.
- Requesting prim returns.
- Requesting general support.
However, co-tenants cannot:
- Transfer the rental to another person.
- Add or remove other tenants.
visitor guidelines
◆Guest Responsibility
Residents are responsible for the behavior of their guests during their visit.
◆ Visitor Limits
To ensure a comfortable experience for all, please observe the following visitor limits:
- Large Domes: Maximum of 12 visitors at any time.
- Medium Domes: Maximum of 10 visitors at any time.
- Small Domes: Maximum of 8 visitors at any time.
- Petite Domes: Maximum of 6 visitors at any time.
Prim Usage
◆ Extra Prims
If you need more prims, extra prims can be added upon request through the Support Portal:
- Availability depends on current capacity.
- You can remove extra prims at any time.
- The cost is L$50 per week for every 50 prims added.
- No rental can exceed a total of 5,000 prims.
◆ Minimum Prim Limits
Each Skydome has a set minimum prim count that cannot be reduced:
- Large Domes: 2,000 prims
- Medium Domes: 1,400 prims
- Small Domes: 700 prims
- Petite Domes: 300 prims
◆ Going Over Prim Limits
If you exceed your prim limit, your prim count and rental price will be adjusted to account for the extra usage.
◆ Authorized Prim Rezzing
Only tenants and their registered co-tenants can rez prims. Any unauthorized prims will be returned.
building guidelines
◆ Structure Placement
To ensure that your build does not encroach on other residents’ space, all objects and structures must remain within the boundaries of your Skydome. No buildings or structures should be placed outside, below, or above the Skydome.
◆ Recommended Home Sizes
For the best fit within your Skydome, we recommend the following home sizes:
- Large Domes: 74m x 64m (4,736 sqm)
- Medium Domes: 61m x 43m (2,263 sqm)
- Small Domes: 53m x 40m (2,120 sqm)
- Petite Domes: 40m x 30m (1,200 sqm)
◆ Lag and Scripted Items
- No weather systems or temp prim scripted items are allowed.
- Objects causing excessive lag will be returned without prior notice to the owner.
media guidelines
◆ Included Media Tools
To make your experience hassle-free, every resident receives the following media tools in their Resident Pack, free of charge:
- A Radio HUD to control music in your Skydome.
- A Prim Media Television for simple media streaming.
◆ Prim Media Usage
Our Skydomes use Prim Media only. Objects like televisions that require deeded parcel access won’t function in this environment,
◆ Third-Party Media Options
For those seeking more advanced media solutions, additional parcel media televisions are available from third-party vendors on Marketplace. However, we cannot provide support or troubleshooting for these products.
security guidelines
◆ Security Orbs Provided
For your safety and privacy, security orbs are provided and managed by Bella Pointe.
◆ No Personal Security Orbs
Residents are not permitted to place their own security orbs.
◆ Limited Access to Features
Certain features of the security orb are reserved for management use only. Residents have access to basic settings, but full control remains with management.
breedable limits
◆ Banned Breedables
To ensure a smooth experience for all residents, certain brands of breedable pets and plants are banned due to their outdated scripting and high lag potential.
- Plant Pets are not allowed.
◆ Allowed Breedables
We welcome breedables within these limits:
- Up to 50 with animations turned off.
- No more than 14 with animations turned on.
- Unnecessary sounds and animations should remain off where possible to reduce lag.
Support Issues
◆ Rollback Policy
Rollbacks cannot be performed upon resident request and are not offered under any circumstance.
◆ Lost Items
Management is not responsible for items lost due to automatic eviction returns, staff returns, or items lost due to grid issues.
◆ Support
For assistance, please use the Support Portal on our website. Our staff is happy to help with any issues that may arise.
Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these policies at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of residents to stay informed about any changes by regularly reviewing the covenant.
